R. Horton Frank III

Mr. Frank graduated from the University of the South in 1977.  He received his law degree from Vanderbilt University in 1980 where he was also awarded first prize for a meritorious paper on Copyright Law by the American Society of Composers Authors and Publishers.  Mr. Frank focuses his practice on the administration of contested probate, trust and conservatorship estates including the litigation and resolution of disputes in those estates. Much of his practice involves estates owning copyrights in music and the right to receive royalties from the exploitation of musical compositions and sound recordings.  Mr. Frank is admitted to practice law in Tennessee and has experience practicing in Tennessee State and Federal trial and appellate Courts.  He is a member of the Nashville and Tennessee Bar Associations and a Fellow of the Nashville Bar Association.  He holds an AV rating awarded by Martindale Hubbell.
